Hey Charles, I think that talking with her is definitely the best option. Tell her how you feel, present her with a couple of possible outcomes to your relationship you suggest and ask for her feedback. Then take it from there. All the best =)

Me and this girl have this thing going on. We live in different states now and we still talk but I am finding myself getting to possesive and I think it is time for me to cut ties. I really want to talk to her and explain this to her maybe she could give me some feedback i am not expecting her to stay with me but just give me some feedback.

Being too possessive is number 1 on my list. Definitely shows lower value behavior to make her want to leave you.

Thanks to all of you!! I know it’s a tricky topic and people as Amber might not agree with what I say – But that’s to be expected. It’s just my view on the subject and for this we have the comments – For all of you to leave your opinions, your advices and thoughts. One man alone cannot construct the encyclopedia this site will slowly become =)

Hey Mario, good run down of the basics! Of course you are right, these things are certain to lose you your girlfriend in the long term..at least if that girlfriend has some pride and self respect.
I am loving Amber’s comment ;-) made me laugh!
It’s funny isn’t it…sometimes we are so busy running things down that we don’t UNDERSTAND…and it’s purely because WE DON’T UNDERSTAND them…
