In my opinion there is no One person that a successful relationship can be made with. Its about finding someone who inspires you to build a foundation of friendship and be the best version of yourself. Passion is important, but all to often the spark of passion fades quickly, so its important to have a hearth where you can keep the sparks alive. Your working on the theory that Love is something that just happens to you. I work on the theory that Love is something you can build so long as the right building supplies are available. Lots of relationships fail because those involved don’t know how to build and don’t want to learn. These failures are a result of people finding out relationships take work and deciding to give up the relationship instead of doing the work because The One would no have made them work this hard, so obviously they are with the wrong person. Passion is great, but its friendship based on strong positive communication skills that results in successful long term relationships. Passion is just icing on the cake. ;)

Thanks for your comment Reg! That extra bit of information you give is good to know. It’s just as you say… People have to look for the interdependent type of relationships. The other two are, because of one way or the other, just not good.
