Just moved to Copenhagen, Denmark – finally! That’s the main reason behind the lack of updates – planning the trip, then apartment hunting, going out and starting life in such a different place is taking most of my time and energy.

But I’m not here to tell you my impressions from Copenhagen or travel experiences – no. What I’ll write this time is what I think and my experience with Scandinavian girls so far.

I’ll speak for Danish girls, but you can most likely draw the same conclusions for Norwegians and Swedish – they are not the same but still very similar.

As always, generalizations are never good. While I’ll give an overall opinion or point, there are obviously tons of exceptions!

It’s Not a Myth – Girls Are REALLY Beautiful

Valkyries, as one good friend pointed out – in reference to the mythological Nordic deities. And it’s not all about blonde and tall girls – it’s just that they are all good looking. It’s no less than incredible.

Their faces look neat – tidy, sexy and with just everything right. Add to that spectacular hair (blonde, black, brown and red all look good), deep bright eyes and a lovely white, soft and delicate skin.

Bodies follow suit – both tall and shorter girls have nice breasts, good butts and seductive legs. They eat well, do plenty of sports (people cycle everywhere here) and are blessed with good genetics. The outcome is perfect – at least when they are young!

They Are Equals to Men

Or even more manly than men are. I touched this topic a while back, but I constantly notice that girls in North Europe act more like men and guys act more like girls. Here girls approach guys, and guys spend hours grooming themselves in the bathroom before going out.

Weird to me – normal here. The conclusion is that just by approaching a girl you’ll be standing out. Back in Argentina it would be normal for me (and any other guy) to approach 10+ girls a night. And that’s a short, short estimate. Here people were scandalized when I told them what I did back home.

The ‘surprise effect’ of approaching girls here gives anyone doing it a big advantage. Girls won’t tell you to ‘die’ or ‘fuck off’ like they do in Argentina even after you only said a simple ‘hello’. If you come up with the right lines or look fun and easy going you’ll be off to a good start.

Approaching Outside Clubs Works Best

Being a foreigner always has benefits when it comes to flirting. I abuse of my Spanish/Italian English accent and it gives me terrific results. By some reason girls love it and I show it off everywhere.

That, along my will to learn the language (something special, as I’m the only one who cares about learning Danish among my group of friends) makes me a good choice for a ‘coffee’. And you know what happens when coffees go good: they turn into beers, dates, etc.

The trick is to be nice and fun all times. It’s all about saying ‘hi’ enough, smiling lots and making comments that will brighten the girl’s days up. It costs nothing and nobody does it – it’s perfect to stand out in the positive way.

They Are Cold – But Not THAT Much

I have only been here for ten days, so I can’t give a decisive opinion on how cold girls are here. But they are certainly warmer than I expected.

And, unlike Germans and other Central Europeans, they are not completely useless when it comes to cooking and doing household things – something that at least I consider important in a woman.

It’s a nice surprise. As hot girls could be here, I can never consider them potential girlfriends if they are not a bit hot blooded. I’ve been raised to like one way of living and like that way of living. I can compromise for a bit less – I don’t demand girls to be perfect, but I certainly want them to be women.

How To Say I Love You In 100 Languages is a post from: Dating Beautiful Women

A little bit of personal story here. I just moved to Rio de Janeiro in Brazil for what I expect to be at least a few weeks. The place is cool, hot, sunny, beautiful and full of nice girls. Still – I came all alone, at least in the sense that I didn’t know anyone before I traveling here.

These are the cases when I want a girlfriend most than ever. I can live without one home, where I have my friends and my family, but when I’m abroad (and not traveling) it can make my life much better. So mission is to find Brazilian girlfriend.

It will take me a bit as I’m always looking for the best -sometimes to a point of stupidity, – but I’m sure it will find the right one. I have lots of experience traveling and in new cities so that will help me out here. I’ll share what I’m going to (and doing) with you:

Finding A Comfortable Place.

That’s the most important thing here. You need to have some good place to bring people for a few drinks, to eat or just to watch a movie. That’s even more important than having your own single bedroom – You just need comfortable place with good vibe to make guys and girls feel good around you.

And go for the best. I’m living a hostel in Leblon (the most exclusive neighborhood in Rio) just because I want to live here. It has a perfect place next to the best beach in town, a terrific kitchen and a lot of nice people. Shame I don’t have my single room – but I can get one for a few bucks if I need it and the girl is really worth it.

Also, living in a hostel, contrary to a single room or an apartment with just one or two people is more fun. There’s always someone to do something with me and being around people (and many girls, too) all the time raises my game and my practice for when I’m with the girls I really like.

Find a place where you feel (and you will make girls) the most comfortable at. For me it’s this hostel – maybe for you it’s something more intimate. Look for yours.

Going Out. Lots.

I work till mid-afternoon, but after that, unless we have the rain of the decade, I’m out. I go wherever, but don’t stay home. There are lots of places where I can meet girls and those are where I have to be. In Rio these are: the beach, the malls, bars and clubs. Unlike my other cities, Rio is not so cultural-heavy (big turn-off), but there are still plenty of chances anywhere else.

The more time you spend out, the more chances you’ll have of meeting locals. It’s an easy equation and you have to take advantage of it. And when you are abroad there are hundreds of excuses for you to speak with people.

Approaching.

I’m obsessed with languages. I want to learn the language of all the places I go to. Rio is not the exception – and thankfully Spanish (my native language) and Portuguese (Brazil’s) are quite close. It’s easy to start to learn and it is the ultimate excuse to approach.

Asking for language exchange is the easiest and most effective way of getting dates. It may look weird at first glance, but people find it cool that they can help you out with their language. If you are from the other sex and attractive, they’ll be even more willing to give you a hand. Cool.

I met girls on the beach, bars and online who accepted to “teach me” Portuguese just after a few minutes speaking. They just find it more interesting and “safe” than if I asked them for a conventional date, plus I offer cool things in return: Spanish, Tango, cooking, etc.

The only con here is that if the target language is the same as yours. Then you have to come up with something new. But try the cultural exchange thing – maybe it can be cooking, reading, whatever. Just focus on giving and receiving culture. It’s the proven way of getting dates fast.

Dating.

It’s not necessary to even get dates when you are in places as Rio or where girls are easy to get laid. But the high quality ones, the very best and those who I look for right now are not of the easy type. They just need some time out with you to get to know you.

If that’s your case, take them out. Search long and hard for one good restaurant and bar where you could take them if needed. Just like back home, you must make the atmosphere and environment play the game you want.

Final Thoughts.

Be willing to push hard. It will be you who will have to make most of the calling, arranging dates and so on. It is not meant to be that easy – you’ll have to work more than home. But it’s still more fun and the wide range of excuses you have to speak with them is unique. It will make, in the end, matters even easier.

Where are the most beautiful women in the world?

One of my many quests is to find where the most beautiful women in the world are. I have traveled extensively and often to remote places just to see how the locals looked like. These trips have taken me from popular destinations as Italy and France to areas out of the radar as the Székely land or the Carpathian Ruthenia, just to name a few.

Despite the quest is far from over, I can give you a few preliminary results. If you are planning a trip and would like to have a bit of fun, make sure you take a note of this! Here they are:

5- Riga, Latvia

I had heard so many amazing things about Riga that I decided to spend a few days there before getting into Russia. And wow, it’s amazing! The city is lovely and is flooded with super hot girls. It’s no joke.

As soon as I arrived to my hostel I was greeted by an ex Miss Latvia. Two minutes later she was already telling me all the parties and plans the hostel had been arranging for us. I was stunned – I had hit the jackpot and it was going to be an amazing adventure.

I had a crazy time in Riga. Girls are like nothing you have seen before. It’s like a mix of Russians, Western Europeans and Scandinavians. Take the best of each and you’ll find Latvians. I can’t wait to go back!

4- Finland

The people from Scandinavia are the world’s most beautiful. Whoever has been to Denmark, Sweden, Norway and Finland will easily notice that. The guys and girls are as hot as humanity can get. But inside that group there’s one more thing that makes Finnish special.

Finnish are a strange and unique ethnic group, only loosely related to the Hungarians, Estonians and other very small minorities in faraway places on the Ural Mountains. As such they have something in their looks. They get the goodness of the Scandinavians and mix it with a unique flavor. It’s unmatched!

3- Argentina

My country is home to an amazing stock of beautiful people. If you think I’m being biased, I just invite you to come! Unlike other places in South America, Argentina did not have any considerable number of native people nor of slaves, making the population almost 100% European immigrants.

The main groups are Italians, Spanish and Germans. There are a few Slavic, French and Scandinavian minorities too. Take the best of each, mix them together and you’ll have Argentineans. That’s what we like to say at least!

One other outstanding feature about Argentineans is that the quantity ratio is very high. Perhaps just one out of ten girls is really hot… But six of those ten are already beautiful too. Just one or maybe two are not good looking. That’s a huge difference with other countries. In Russia, for instance, you see two to three models out of ten girls, but four or five may be are really not good looking. Couple quality and quantity and you get a big winner!

2- Zagreb, Croatia

Croatia is the closest place to paradise. The country is awesome, its coast unique, the weather excellent and the girls super hot. I really envy Croatians. It’s not just all that… They are also in the very center of Europe, just hours away from Spain, Italy, England, Germany and so on. It’s that cool that I’ve been there twice in three years.

Girls all around the ex Yugoslavia are beautiful. Make a visit to Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia, etc and you won’t be disappointed. Croatians in particular are also one of the most westernized Slavic populations. They have the beautiful looks of the Slavs, coupled with the charm and romance of Latin people. That combination is a winner!

Best, unlike the Finnish and Latvians, Croats girls won’t be wearing five layers of clothes once winter starts!

1- Kiev Region, Ukraine.

I have never seen so many beautiful women in my life as when I was in Kiev. It’s something outstanding, out of this world! It’s hard to impress me these days, but the Ukrainian capital certainly did.

The catch is that there’s a perfect mix of Slavic ancestries in Kiev. It’s mostly Ukrainians there, but there are considerable Russian, Polish and other ex-USSR minorities. Couple it with the extravagant way they dress and an obsession with looks and you are into something. If you want to go and have fun, forget about Amsterdam. Kiev is the place to go.

Note: when I was in Kiev I experienced an amazing phenomenon. The casual Ukrainian girl, the one who is studying at university and comes from a good family will still offer you to have sex for a few Euro bills. That is, if she likes you and wants to sleep with you she’ll still ask you for some money “to buy more clothes” and “make a few bucks.” In my country we call that prostitution, but not in Ukraine.

It’s hard to find an easier place to flirt, to meet people and to shine than a hostel. I never had so much success with women as when I first went traveling around Europe. It was just crazy – I had never had that many possibilities.

The trick is that you meet so many people and so many girls that at least one will find you attractive. Couple that with lots of alcohol and parties every night and it just happens. It doesn’t even matter if you, just like me, personally travel for culture and history. The majority of people just go backpacking for all the parties and fun.  That makes love and sex practically inevitable.

The Catch

Still, there’s a few ways to maximize your hostel success. And it’s simple – If you want to be the biggest winner at the hostel you’ll have to work on three things. You’ll have to be: exotic, adventurer and the leader of the tribe. That’s all it takes to have the time of your life while traveling. These will help you with girls wherever you are, but especially in places as hostels!

Being Exotic

I’m from Argentina and speak English with a very strong Italian accent. How cool is that? It is enough for most girls to find me special and exotic. I don’t have exotic traits, skin or hair… It’s just the passport and the way I speak. But it works marvels. I love it and, it appears, girls too.

The truth is that most of you were not born in an exotic country nor have a supreme-flirting accent. But you can make it up and have a bit more of fun too. If you are from Ohio, for example, you can say you are from Hawaii. That alone will raise your chances greatly. And I can assure you that because I told my best American friends back in Europe always to say that to wow girls.

Lying and inventing stories is not part of my usual pick up. But I will do it if I have to. For example, in Chile they hate Argentineans (and it’s the same pretty much everywhere in South America) so every time I’m there I just tell people I’m from Austria or Italy. Works marvels and, after all, in most cases you won’t meet the people again. Just have fun.

Being The Adventurer

If you just can’t be exotic, it’s ok. You have another couple of ways to prove yourself special! One is being the adventurer. The adventurer is not the one who went to the craziest places (you’ll always find someone who went one step farther) but the one who in the moment proposes the most funny and crazy things. You got to be that person.

I arrived to Salzburg late at night and checked in the hostel almost at midnight. Some guys and girls were having a drink in the common room and I joined them after leaving my backpack on my bed. They were having fun and still discussing whether to go to this club or the other. I just told them that on the way I saw the castle (it’s quite central actually) and would love to visit it NOW. They thought I was crazy but we finally ended up going there for real.

The streets were dark, the sounds frightening and the castle looked gloomy from the outside. Couple that with a big full moon, spring weather and a bit of alcohol and that made the situation look amazing. It was like a time travel to a few hundred years back. We had a lot of fun and made many jokes while we discovered and explored that part of the city.

In just a few hours the girls had gone from not knowing me at all to think I was super cool, lovely, fun, adventurous and more. Then I could choose the one I wanted – It was that easy! Make an adventure wherever you go. It doesn’t need to have castles, gloomy atmospheres nor it doesn’t even have to be at nighttime. Just break the rules and make everyone do something fun.

And always be careful. I wouldn’t go wandering drunk around the darkest alleys of a city if I weren’t in Austria or a super-safe country. It’s cool to be adventurous but it’s bad to be really crazy! Just take that in mind.

Be The Leader of The Tribe

No matter where you are, you got to be the one who leads. When you are with guys and girls at a hostel you got to be the one who commands the conversations, who everyone likes and who makes the fun kick off. It’s easier than it sounds and it doesn’t take much. Just remember to be open, loud and charismatic.

People at hostels are super friendly so make sure you are very active and social. Remember names, remember their stories, ask them about themselves and always have plans under your sleeve. The castle example is just one more of how one can lead. But not every leading has to be an adventure. You can, for example, be the one who proposes the drinking game or the one who tells the best anecdotes.

Be that man who everyone in the hostel says hello or always speaks a little bit to. Then the girls will start to think there must be something special about you. In an atmosphere where people hardly know each other for more than two or three days is when you have to shine. Outwit all the other guys and go straight and fast for the protagonist place.
