You probably head about Tim Ferriss. He is the author of the bestselling book The 4 Hour Work Week (a recommended read!) and one of his lifestyle strategies has been to outsource as much of his life as possible. It kind of makes sense – Most of the times we consume a lot of our time and effort doing something that for a few dollars someone else could do for us.

One day, first as a joke, Tim talked about outsourcing your dating life. As crazy as it sounds, he then made an experiment that proved to be quite successful. I’ll let you know what it is about and maybe you can try it out yourself!

Tim started by recruiting a few teams of freelancers. He told them to create profiles in the most popular dating sites and work to arrange dates for him. He gave them a calendar and the teams had to compete between each other setting up the best dates possible. Whoever got the most good dates won a 150$ prize.

To make sure everything went as smoothly as possible he worked out a one-page rules and regulations sheet with all his goals and guidelines. He pointed out which girls he found attractive, which were the must and must-not haves, etc. He left the stuff really well organized so once the rules and calendars were clear the teams could do the entire job for him.

The results, it appears, were quite amazing. He got twenty coffee dates in less than a month and he actually found a long term girlfriend out of the experiment. He made the teams try different sites and think up their own strategies to find him a date while he patiently waited for the results. Amazing, right?

Are there turn off into this? If you are into online dating, definitely not! You could even try it yourself. Think of it as a much more personalized way of Speed Dating, but where you only meet up with girls you find attractive. Sounds great to me!

Last, Tim made sure to tell every girl he took out to a second date what the experiment was and all the outsourcing thing he did. Instead of being a turn off most girls found it funny and laughed at it. After all, it’s a crazily fun anecdote and indeed something original, something that stands out.

Could you try it yourself? Absolutely! Remember the steps: sign up to elance or another freelance service, make the rules clear, find your teams and be prepared for some fun. It shouldn’t cost you much and the results could be much better than if you are doing the whole thing on your own.

Now it’s time to take the initiative. You might have the most perfect profile out there, but it’s of no use unless you take some action. It’s time for you to finally write this girl you like a message. Hot women can get up to hundreds of emails each day, so your goal and objective here has to differentiate from all those other average guys.

Following is a guideline for writing a message that will impress her and make her want to know more of you.

Be personal

You never want to copy & paste, no way. In order to grab the attention of the woman you want, you got to be personal. Add her as a friend before sending her a message. Read her profile, find interests in common and take a look at her photos. That will give you plenty of material to speak about.

Stand out with the subject line

“Hello”, “Hi” and “Hey” greetings, with all their possible variations, are the big protagonists in every woman’s inbox. Though it’s better than to leave the subject line empty, it won’t take you where you want to go. It’s easy to stand out here: just write her something personal. Make it cocky, funny. Slightly disqualify her or make her a funny question about the content in her profile. From the whole inbox you’ll be then the one she will read first.

Keep your message short

Never write more than two paragraphs, it’s a big turn off. It will be scary for her and it will show too much interest and dedication. You have to sound natural and spontaneous. Save your eagerness to speak and to tell her your story for later. Don’t think too much what to write. Your doubts will be expressed in each and every of your words.

Mind your grammar and spelling

By no means dare to have grammar or spelling mistakes in your message. Intelligence means higher value and you can hardly show it off if you don’t know how to write. And mind, you’ll always look stupid if you write things like “What r ur plans for 4day?” HORRIBLE! Some guys believe it’s cool but it’s the whole contrary. Write the words completely ok? And don’t use emoticons.

Write with confidence

Remember: your life is amazing and she is lucky you wrote her. Feel this way and make her feel it too. Never sound desperate, have a great man’s attitude. Don’t talk about dating or sex just now, go with ease. Show your value and don’t give her the upper hand: save compliments and nice comments for later. If she doesn’t treat you well, always be willing to walk away.

Met her before?

That would make everything much easier. Never ask her if she remembers you, be yourself the one telling her shortly where you met. Proceed with lines as “Never would have expected you to xxx..”, slightly disqualifying her but with a bit of fun on it.

Important

You’ll soon start meeting possibly hundreds of women. It will happen that you might specially like one, right? Even if I you are really attracted to her, don’t get too attached. Until you meet in person, be ready to let her go. You don’t want to waste your precious time with a woman who is not genuinely interested with you.

Specifically, the place where you display all these qualities is the Profile. The profile will be your very own blueprint, as well as the first impression of you all women will have. Your profile is the best way to show your value and building a great one is the essential first step in the attraction game. It’s of great importance that the profile shows off the very best of you. The following guide, divided in four parts, will help you building and polishing a profile women will feel attracted to.

Photos and the Profile Picture

Never underestimate the importance of photos. Not even dare! Before any woman reads your profile, you will have to impress her with a nice, charming picture. It’s what builds the initial attraction. But still, what makes the real difference and the most important impact in the social proof and raises your value the most is how popular you are. The number of friends is significant, but so is the amount of comments and wall posts you have. You need to have an active and dynamic profile, and for that it’s you who has to make the move first. Write other friend’s walls, comment on their photos and updates. The more you do it, the more they’ll return.

Still, be careful about not exaggerating as you could look creepy. Having 1000+ friends would be odd and writing your friends too often and too much can be annoying. Don’t put them against you – find the right balance!

Groups, Pages, Interests and Status Updates

After gaining attraction and social proof comes showing your identity – and these four are the right places to do so. Be sure to have a complete profile: write your interests, favorite movies and music and which are the activities you do. Write a few nice paragraphs about you, further demonstrating who you are. These are all future conversation points, so you might have a sleeper hit in there. And for the sake of mankind, don’t dare to have spelling or grammar mistakes!

When it comes to Groups and Pages, they are where you further develop your online identity. Be sure to join and subscribe to at least a few of them, all of which should be around your interests. Try to differentiate from the others and enter a bit more unconventional yet cool ones (again, NO creepy stuff!) In there you’ll find potential friends and we’ll cover in the future how to flirt in them too. Grow your social proof further by becoming officer in some groups or building a popular Page. All these small details will keep making the difference in the future.

As for Status Updates, they are really something to be careful of. Write a few interesting, cocky updates once a while. She will surely read and make conclusions from your updates, so show the best of you in them. Show in each one of them what makes you special and work to further increase your value. Be careful not to exaggerate! People will get annoyed if you flood their homepage, so restrain of pushing that “Share” button too often. Don’t post all the time and try not to take lots of those questionnaires and quizzes around.

Other Points

- There’s this small box under the profile picture. Use it! Write something nice in there, something cocky. Think about a great quotation or something funny about you. But don’t leave it in blank and don’t sound boring!

- Don’t flood your profile with applications. The less the better! Only post the applications you believe can raise your value. If you have traveled, for example, place the Cities Visited map. If you write great poems, place the notes box in there. But trust me that the Zombie Attack & similar will destroy all the work you have made. And by no means dare to send women those application requests unless it’s something really relevant (most of the times, if not always, it’s not)

- Only show your job and education information if they will raise your value. If not, restrain. Don’t just show off everything. Keep some things for yourself and for later!

- Don’t post your instant messengers accounts or email in your profile. Reveal it at the right moment or make her ask you for them.

- Never post your relationship status. If you are single, don’t say it. The moment she asks you means she is starting to get interested in you.

- Any woman that reads your profile has to know that she is not the only one doing so. Don’t look like a pimp but yes as a man who has enough women in his life. Make her feel that she also has to win you.

Final Thoughts

The moment this woman you want takes a look at your profile she has to be impressed. She has to think how nice it would be if you write her an email and how great it would be to get to know more of you. With attractive photos, social proof and an interesting and complete profile, you are all set to make this come true.
